Fur Traders Coast to 11-2 Victory
The Tacoma Fur Traders handed the Richland Rails a sound defeat, 11-2, at Rails Ballpark. Keith Thornburg was a main contributor to the win. He went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Tacoma. The Rails fall to 6-9 and continue their lackluster start to the 2063 season.

In the top of the second, with Tacoma leading 2-0, third baseman Andrew Smith hit a run-scoring single. The hit came off Earnest McClure and put the Fur Traders ahead, 3-0.

"It's still just a game," said Thornburg, "whether you win or lose."
