Ghosts Hitless Against Wilson
Pine Island is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Alex Wilson.

The 22-year-old hurler was dominating against the Casper Ghosts, leading the Dolphins to a 6-0 win at Goodyear Hanger Dome today.

"I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Casper manager Chet Delaney said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game."

Wilson had 9 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk en route to the no-hitter.

"Yeah, this was a special day for me," Wilson said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today."

This season Wilson has recorded no saves with a 3-0 record. He's made no relief appearances, tossed 40.1 innings while fanning 30 with a 2.68 ERA.
