Fur Traders Get Hard-Earned Win
The Tacoma Fur Traders, behind a great outing from Kent Nelson, who is tied for 4th in the 3AA in quality starts with 4, defeated the Toledo Saboteurs, 2-1, at Toledo Backyard Park. Joe Burkett earned the save, his 4th, for the Fur Traders. After today's action, Tacoma sits at 15-14, while Toledo falls to 12-17.

Charlie Burton had a direct impact on the outcome. Burton contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Tacoma up, 2-1.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Tacoma manager Jeff Rutherford.
