The Barton Springs Blues had to overcome a good performance from Richland pitcher Dax Marshall to claim a 2-1 win at Rails Ballpark. Marshall went 9 innings and allowed 2 runs. Gil Guerrero was the winner. Over 6 innings, he yielded 1 run on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts. Wen Bao nailed down the save.

The Blues got an important contribution from second baseman Michael Robbins, who in the top of the first knocked a 1-1 fastball to left-center for a solo home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Blues ahead, 2-0.
