Victory Pushes Rails Record to 26-14
The Richland Rails got a good effort from starter Ben Griffin in defeating the Lancaster Farmers at Rails Ballpark. The final score was 5-2. With the victory, the Rails upped their record to 26-14.

Gjelt Willems had a big 2-run home run for the Rails in the bottom of the third inning. With Richland leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 21-year old left-handed pitcher David Cochrane and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rails ahead, 3-0.

Said Richland manager Ludovic Fontaine: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
