The Colorado Billy Goats had to overcome a good performance from Seattle pitcher Jason Kofod to claim a 2-1 win at Grazing Hills. Kofod went 5.2 innings and allowed no runs. Colorado is now 36-40. Seattle is 35-41.

The Billy Goats got a clutch hit from pinch hitter William Carson. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Billy Goats.

"Tough loss," said Seattle manager Andrew Powell. "This one will sting for a while."
