Rails Earn Late Win
The Richland Rails grabbed a win, 4-3, over the Pine Island Dolphins at Rails Ballpark. Richland left fielder Brad Whitehead went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. John McCall got credit for the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3 innings. The win puts the Rails at 39-31, while the Dolphins drop to 42-28.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Richland second baseman Kyle Nelson, facing Cliff Keir, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Rails the 4-3 win.
