Fur Traders Defeated, 6-3, After Casper Rallies
|
The Casper Ghosts picked up a win at The Graveyard, knocking off the Tacoma Fur Traders, 6-3. Starting pitcher Scott Goff played a key role in the triumph. Hai-feng Zhu earned his 20th save in 23 chances. With the win, the Ghosts have a record of 45-35.
Darrel Baker's at-bat in the bottom of the first inning was a big one for Casper. Coming to bat with one out, the bases loaded and Casper trailing 1-0, the right fielder hit a sacrifice fly.
Casper manager Jerry Duke commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
