The Northville Eclipse beat the Richland Rails, 9-7, at Rails Ballpark. Northville center fielder Mal Parker had an outstanding performance. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Daniel Watson claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 5.1 innings. His record stands at 2-1. Patrick Wilder earned save number 16 this season.

In the top of the seventh, Parker put his team in front with his 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Jorge Romano, made it 7-5, Northville.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Parker.
