Pine Island right-hander Dan Clark helped his team edge Lancaster by the score of 3-2. Clark kept the opposing lineup in check. Clark got the win, improving to 8-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Clark allowed 2 runs. Michael Ross earned the save, his 3rd.

The Farmers had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Dolphins going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old third baseman Jorge Reyes came to the plate. Reyes hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 screwball from Lancaster hurler Joe Gunn. It was Reyes's 10th double of the year.
