Richland picked up a win at Goodyear Hanger Dome, bumping off the Pine Island Dolphins, 7-1. Pitcher Lorenzo Ramírez was a major reason the Rails emerged victorious. The Rails win now puts them at 55-32.
With one out in the top of the fifth, Corneliu Zamfir barreled up a sinker from Juan Sánchez. The result was a grand slam home run, putting the Rails in front, 7-0.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Ramírez.
