Rails Deal Farmers 13-8 Setback
The Lancaster Farmers got a superb performance from pitcher Amur Bandele, but the Richland Rails still won the game, 13-8. Bandele came in in relief and pitched to 21 batters. Richard Stevenson got credit for the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed 6 runs on 8 hits in 6.1 innings. Richland is now 51-42, while Lancaster is 31-62.

Richland used the hitting of Rubén López to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rails on top, 13-6. For the game, López had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We maximized our offense today," said Richland skipper Todd Hines. "That makes everyone's life easier."
