Kalepa Powers Turbeaus to 5-0 Win
The Gulf Coast Turbeaus beat the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs by a score of 5-0. Gulf Coast catcher TeiTetua Kalepa deserved the lion's share of the credit. Kalepa went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Turbeaus. Gulf Coast now has a record of 2-1.

Gulf Coast used the timely hitting of Mark Glenn to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Turbeaus on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
