Kennedy Now 1-1 After Beating Loons
Lee Kennedy was brilliant in helping Providence beat the Minnesota Loons, 2-0. Chris McElroy finished the game for Providence and earned his 3rd save. Providence goes to 3-4.

The Pilgrims liked what they saw from Kennedy. The 21-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Loons to no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 7.

"Lee giving us the start that he did was huge," said Providence manager Tony Sánchez.
