Behind the hitting of Dave Gibbons, the Toledo Saboteurs defeated the Philadelphia Liberty Academy, 6-4. Gibbons went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Saboteurs. The Liberty Academy drop to 5-7, as their stumbling start to the 2061 season continues.

With two out in the bottom of the fourth, Mike Newman barreled up a fastball from Kasper Berg. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Saboteurs in front, 5-0.
