The Billings Polar Bears had to overcome a fine effort from Minnesota pitcher José Aguilar to win, 4-3, in 10 innings at The Igloo. Aguilar went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Billings has an impressive 15-7 record.

The decisive blow was delivered by Salvador Sosa in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Wilbert McCabe to win the game for Billings. The home crowd went nuts.

Billings manager Justin Broadfoot called it "a darn good win."
