Blues Field was the site for USSL Double A action featuring the Barton Springs Blues and Lake Murray MotorBoaters.

The Lake Murray MotorBoaters clobbered the Barton Springs Blues, 11-3, at Blues Field. Leading the onslaught was Allen Harris. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Lake Murray. Lake Murray sits in first place in the Silver AA at 16-7.

José Castro had a big 2-run home run for the MotorBoaters in the top of the fourth inning. With Lake Murray leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a slider from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Rafiq bin Zuhair and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the MotorBoaters on top, 5-2.

"I really like what we did out there today," Harris said after the game.
