Rocketeers Get Hard-Earned Win
The Seattle Rocketeers eked out a 3-2 win versus the Hollywood Shredders at The Hollywood Bowl. Nobody did more than pitcher Rodrigo Herrera. He was terrific. Herrera, now 4-5, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Adrián Correa sewed up the save, his 1st.

Phil Thomas drew 1 walk for Seattle. With two out and the game tied in the top of the eighth inning, Thomas had a clutch at-bat. Facing Hollywood hurler David Luna, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Rocketeers a 3-2 lead.

"Rodrigo was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Seattle manager Andrew Powell.

With this game in the books, Seattle is 40-43, Hollywood 37-46.
