Fighting Imps Drop Close One Late
The Billings Polar Bears stopped the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 3-2, at The Igloo. The Polar Bears got a big game from Yataro Murakami, who was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Billings is now 19-9, 2 games up in the Silver AA.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Murakami hit a fastball from Vern Huffman for a run-scoring single. The Polar Bears, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Murakami told the Billings Chronicle.
