The home crowd had a good time watching the Ithaca Fighting Imps and Minnesota Loons get after it.

Getting a good performance from third baseman António Martínez, the Minnesota Loons defeated the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 10-0. Martínez was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI for the Loons. Minnesota reliever Ángel Vega picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Allen Wagner took the loss.

One pivotal at-bat came with two out in the top of the fourth. With the bases loaded and Ithaca trailing 2-0, Bob Scott needed to bear down against Jerry Jaramillo. Scott won the battle, as Jaramillo flied out and the Loons went on to win.

The Loons saw their win-loss record go to 20-14. At the same time, the Fighting Imps fell to 17-17.
