The Minnesota Loons scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Loony Bin. Minnesota pitcher Alexander Shuker held his own in the contest. Taki Ohayashi earned the save, his 1st. The setback makes Ithaca 18-18.

Leo Moore dealt the Fighting Imps a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Minnesota leading 4-2, Moore hit a full count cutter for a run-scoring single.

"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Shuker.
