Late Offense Lifts Gwinnett to 2-1 Victory
Experimental Stadium was the site of quite a ballgame.

Gwinnett Guinea Pigs starter Sean Long found his groove in his team's 2-1 win over the Lake Murray MotorBoaters. Hyung-oo Cho picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Brandon Huffman was tagged with the loss.

Gwinnett got a clutch hit from Alfredo Guevara. The right fielder jolted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"This game was intense," Guevara said, postgame.

The win gives Gwinnett a season record of 22-16.
