The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs defeated the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 11-2, in part because of catcher Thom Guerra. Guerra was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Guinea Pigs. The win puts Gwinnett at 25-18 this season.
