Ft. Polk South Loses Again
The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas and starting pitcher Doug Morgan stifled the Ft. Polk South offense en route to a comfortable 8-0 win at Ghost Crab Park. In 7.2 innings, Morgan surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Ft. Polk South, at 22-26, has lost 6 straight.

The Cangrejos Fantasmas got an important contribution from third baseman Luis Marrero, who in the bottom of the sixth hit a 1-0 splitter to left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead, 4-0.

"Doug is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Chesapeake manager John Moore.
