Thunder Hawks Ballpark was the site for USSL Double A action featuring the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks and Nuevo Mexico Mariachis.

Germán Salazar made an impact in the 13-1 Nuevo Mexico win over Ft. Polk South. Salazar, who is tied for 7th in the SAA in RBI with 35, went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. The Mariachis improved to 40-20.

Nuevo Mexico won the game in part because of James Rowland. The third baseman ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mariachis ahead, 3-1. For the game, Rowland had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

Ft. Polk South manager Mike Evans called the pummeling "nothing to write home about."
