Carlos Heath, who is rated as the 33rd best prospect by BNN, pitched well, but the Asheville Highlanders still fell short, losing, 4-2, to the Northville Eclipse at Old-Timers Park. The 5th-place Eclipse go to 35-28.

Chipping in for Northville was third baseman Jon Gray. He stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Gray was 1-3.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Gray. "It sure beats the alternative."
