Ramos Lays Hammer Down in 7-0 Win
Ánibal Ramos pitched a gem to lead Philadelphia to victory over the Asheville Highlanders, 7-0. The Liberty Academy saw their record improve to 34-32.

Ramos earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Philadelphia. The native of Cabaiguan, Cuba, allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 10. Asheville hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.

"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Ramos.
