The home crowd had a good time watching the Northville Eclipse and Minnesota Loons get after it.

A good performance from designated hitter Esteban Colón helped the Minnesota Loons defeat the Northville Eclipse, 7-0. Colón was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Loons. Minnesota pitcher Brady Roy got the win. He's now 1-0. Mannus Klapwijk was tagged with the loss.

With Minnesota leading 3-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Colón hit a slider from Cheslav Vadbolski for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Loons ahead, 6-0.

"We did a lot of things right," said Colón.

The Eclipse, at 36-40, have lost 5 in a row.
