The Billings Polar Bears grabbed a win, 6-5, over the Philadelphia Liberty Academy at The Igloo. Billings shortstop Ramil Laygo was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Reliever Roberto Rodríguez picked up the win. His record improves to 4-1. Michael Adkins, who leads the SAA in complete games with 5, took the loss. Billings is now 39-42, while Philadelphia is 42-39.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Laygo hit a run-scoring single off Michael Adkins. It propelled the Polar Bears into the lead, 5-4.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Billings manager Justin Broadfoot.
