The Las Vegas Flamingos defeated the New Orleans Voodoo, 7-5, in United States Premier League action at The Voodoo Lounge. Jesús Serrano pulled his weight. The 9-year veteran hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Las Vegas reliever Kun Ec snagged the win, upping his record to 8-3. Bob Flannery shouldered the loss.

Las Vegas needed the clutch hitting of Bob Davis to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Flamingos on top, 7-5. For the game, Davis had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

In postgame comments, Serrano said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
