Liberty Academy Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
The Philadelphia Liberty Academy picked up a win at Javelina Ballpark, taking down the Arizona Javelina, 7-2, in 10 innings. On the mound for Philadelphia was right-hander Don Swift. He played a central role in the triumph. Arizona now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

Philadelphia used the timely hitting of Eric Lane to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Liberty Academy on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Arizona manager Ricky O'Toole.
