The Philadelphia Liberty Academy picked up a win at Liberty Academy Field, topping the Minnesota Loons, 1-0. On the mound for Philadelphia was right-hander Chad May. He played a principal role in the triumph. Tanzan Jouda, credited with the save, is now 18 for 21 in save opportunities. The Liberty Academy have now won 7 straight.
May earned the win to move to 3-3. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 9 and walking 1. The right-hander allowed the Loons few scoring opportunities.
