Lake Murray first baseman Dennis Buchanan had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Philadelphia Liberty Academy, 10-1. The Lake Murray winning streak has reached 3 games.

The MotorBoaters got a big hit from left fielder Juan Díaz. Facing Philadelphia pitcher Vicente Torres in the top of the ninth, Díaz pounded a bases-clearing double to left-center. His 18th double of the season put the MotorBoaters ahead, 9-1.

MotorBoaters manager David Buchanan had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
