The Philadelphia Liberty Academy knocked off the Barton Springs Blues, 3-1, in USSL Double A action at Blues Field. Philadelphia pitcher and Guilford, Connecticut, native Monty McLean had an outstanding performance. Tanzan Jouda, credited with the save, is now 25 for 27 in save opportunities. The win makes Philadelphia 46-51.

McLean was in the zone, shutting down Barton Springs hitters over 7.2 innings. McLean, who threw 100 pitches, allowed no runs on 3 hits. He also tallied 6 punchouts.
