The Minnesota Loons and St. Petersburg Thunder put on quite a show.
The Minnesota Loons outlasted the St. Petersburg Thunder, 8-4, in 10 innings. Jon Booker led the way, going 2-for-5 for Minnesota. With the victory, the Loons record stands at 57-44.
The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Booker delivered big-time for Minnesota, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Mike Parkinson. The game-changing hit put the Loons on top, 5-4.
"It never gets old," said Booker. "Winning, that is."
