Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at MSL Memphis Ballpark.

MSL Echo Park left fielder Jesús Morales had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the MSL Memphis Mockingbirds, 9-8. The loss lowers the MSL Memphis record to 1-4.

MSL Echo Park used the clutch hitting of Carlos Serrano to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Lakers the lead, 9-8. For the game, Serrano had 1 single and 3 doubles in 6 at-bats.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Morales told the MSL Echo Park Herald.
