Fa-tang Xiong was terrific for the MSL Toronto Thunder in his team's 4-1 triumph over the MSL Philadelphia Liberty. His performance earned Xiong rave reviews. MSL Toronto reliever Fa-tang Xiong got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Edoardo Consiglio was tagged with the loss. Jay-man Han earned his 4th save, after closing out the game.
In the bottom of the second, Gael Tibbetts delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the MSL Toronto right fielder hit a 3-run home run, putting the Thunder in front, 4-1.
MSL Toronto manager Jake Grant called it "a darn good win."
The loss lowers the MSL Philadelphia record to 3-5.
