The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Toronto trailing 3-2, Henny Clerq hit a curveball from Bob Daniel to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Thunder had a walk-off win.

Clerq called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
