Domínguez, Baby Lakers Take Dramatic Game 1 for 1-0 Series Lead
The Bompton Baby Lakers downed the Philadelphia Liberty U-21, 1-0, in Game 1 of the SL R Championship. Luis Domínguez was a key factor. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. The win puts Bompton up, 1-0, in the series.

The clutch hit was provided by Jeremy Hoover. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Robbie de Groot in the bottom of the tenth.

Domínguez said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Field of the Browns in Compton.
