|
The Casper Ghosts defeated the Tacoma Fur Traders, 6-4, in part because of first baseman Terry Bollea. Bollea was 3-3 with 3 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Ghosts. The win for the Ghosts raised their record to 59-44.
With Casper leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Bollea hit a fastball from Pedro Reyes for a 2-run double. It was his 18th double of the season and put the Ghosts ahead, 4-0.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Bollea. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
