SL AAA Championship Game 1 Victory for Jamison and Philadelphia
The SL AAA Championship got off to a quiet start, with the host Philadelphia Liberty Reserves taking a low-scoring, 2-1 win over the Monongahela Monsters. Philadelphia left-hander Roland Jamison was marvelous at Liberty Reserve Stadium. The Liberty Reserves now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-3 series.

Jamison threw well for Philadelphia, thwarting the Monongahela offense. The left-hander tossed 79 pitches over 8 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 3 hits.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Jamison.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Liberty Reserve Stadium in Philadelphia.
