Siebert, Montreal Open R1 Strong with 4-3 Win
|
The Montreal Machine got past the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds by the score of 4-3 in the crucial first game of the SL AAA Championship at Stade Olympique. Montreal shortstop Ooze Abraham Siebert hit 2 home runs, to lead the charge. With a 1-0 lead, the Machine will have two chances to close out the Fighting Dachshunds.
Arturo Garza helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run home run. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-1, Machine.
Garza called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Stade Olympique in Montreal.
