The Hollywood Shredders moved to within one game of the Tournament of Champions, downing the Seattle Rocketeers on the road at Boeing Dome by a score of 3-2. Shredders right-hander Alex Thompson had a strong outing. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The win gives the Shredders a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC Semi-Finals.

Thompson allowed no runs on 4 hits over 6 innings for the Shredders. He walked 3 and struck out 11.

"Alex just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Hollywood manager Bill Cheese.
