Storybook Season For Seattle, United States Baseball Association Champs

In a fairy tale year, the Seattle Rocketeers capped a perfect season with the United States Baseball Association title, defeating the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids 3-1 to take the series 4-3. The Rocketeers manager said he told the club "to be your best when your best is needed, and this team took it to heart. Throughout the postseason somebody always came up with a clutch hit, a key defensive play, or a great pitch. That's what it takes to win." During the Premier League regular season, the Rocketeers posted a won-loss record of 63-46, good enough for second place in the standings.
