Gribble Batters Seattle Big Time Saturday, August 2nd , 2059 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Detroit's Dale Gribble made it happen against the Rocketeers. Everything came together at the plate for the 28-year-old shortstop as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Elite triumph, 7-2, at Boeing Dome. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Gribble said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Dale Gribble doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, grounded out in the 10th and hit a two-run single in the 12th.
