Ayala Goes 5-for-6 Monday, June 22nd, 2037 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but New Orleans's Juan Jose Ayala made it happen today against the Flamingos. Everything came together at the plate for the 31-year-old shortstop as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Voodoo to a 7-2 win at The Strip. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Ayala said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Juan Jose Ayala singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
