Belleville Blanks Manatees, Williams Wins Thursday, June 15th , 2062 The Matlacha Manatees were almost helpless in their 7-0 loss to the Belleville Bulls and hurler Dover Williams. Williams kept the Manatees confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Williams," Matlacha manager Howard Lee said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 4 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Williams said.
