Hernández Twirls 1-0 Shutout Thursday, August 9th , 2063 The Rocky Mountain Vibes did little to support starter Jesús Hernández against the Washington Generals, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The left-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Generals, striking out 8 and surrendering 2 hits. The performance from Hernández allowed Rocky Mountain to escape with the 1-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Jesús, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Hernández told BNN reporters following the win.
