Chiefs Blank Generals, Clark Winner Wednesday, August 31st , 2061 Caldwell Chiefs pitcher Howard Clark blanked the Washington Generals, 4-0, at Pipers Ballpark, tossing a 3-hitter while issuing 2 walks and collecting 7 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Clark said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
