Liberty U-24 Sweep PL A Championship Monday, September 10th , 2063 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Philadelphia Liberty U-24, that meant the USPL Single A PL A Championship trophy. The Liberty U-24 took a 3-1 victory over the Cut Off Crawdads at Liberty Youth Field, winning their 6th championship after taking the series 2-0. "We've got grit," said Liberty U-24 center fielder Emílio Ruíz, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
