Benson Spectacular in 8-0 Win Saturday, August 19th , 2062 23-year-old Lake Erie Arryns pitcher Reginald Benson had a strong outing against the South Beach Blaze at Arryns Ballpark, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 8 in the 8-0 win and walked 2 while surrendering 3 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. So far this year, Benson has made 18 starts, tossed 112 innings, struck out 104 batters and walked 25. His record is 9-3 with a 2.97 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .255 batting average.
