Eugene Triumphs in PL A Championship Tuesday, September 12th , 2062 The Eugene Vandals pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the PL A Championship in a hard-fought series with the Chicago Tula. It was a seesaw affair, but with a 4-1 victory at Ramblers Ballpark, Eugene lay claim to the franchise's 3rd championship. "There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Bartolo García. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today." The champs finished the regular season 58-39 and claimed first place in the Premier A.
